PURPOSE
The purpose of AAUW and this branch is to advance equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy, and research.

INDIGENOUS LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
We acknowledge that we are standing on the ancestral lands of the Lake Superior Chippewa Indians, who have been stewards of this land for centuries and respect the interconnected relationships among everything on this land. We acknowledge that many legacies of violence, boarding schools, displacement, migration, and settlement that bring us together today. We pay respect to their elders, past, present, and future.
