In celebration of Native American Heritage Month, we invite you to a showing of the Bad River film. This moving film chronicles the Bad River Band of Lake Superior Chippewa's ongoing battle for sovereignty and environmental justice.

About the Event
In celebration of Native American Heritage Month, we invite you to a showing of the Bad River film, followed by a discussion and lunch hosted by the Nicolet Tribal Students & Alumni Club.
The movie Bad River, is an award winning documentary regarding the pipeline dispute on the Bad River Reservation in Northern Wisconsin. Bad River has been nominated for three Critics Choice Awards and recently won the Environmental Media Award for Best Documentary.
AAUW-Northwoods is cosponsoring this event with Nicolet Tribal Students & Alumni Club plus 350 Wisconsin, an environmental action group. There is no cost for attendees - please join us!
